ЕВРОПЕЙСКОЕ ИЗМЕРЕНИЕ ЭНЕРГЕТИЧЕСКОЙ ЭКОНОМИКИ ГЕРМАНИИ: СОВРЕМЕННЫЙ ЭТАП

Abstract:
The article examines the modern European dimension of the energy economy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the context of the transformation of the global energy landscape. The relevance of the work is due to the growing contradictions between the ambitious EU climate goals and the real practice of ensuring energy security, where Germany, having lost its status as a gas distribution hub, is increasingly promoting the German-centric model of «green» technological globalization. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the directions of Germany’s energy policy in the European context, including cooperation with Norway and France, as well as an assessment of the economic and political consequences of the paradigm shift. The scientific novelty consists in a systematic critical assessment of the binary expectation: whether the European dimension will become the foundation of success or the reason for the failure of Germany’s energy economic project. Methodologically, the work is based on case studies (NordLink, Baltic Pipe, MosaHYc), a comparative analysis of regulations and statistical data, as well as a review of the peer-reviewed literature on the energy transition. Main results: the selectivity of Germany’s compliance with EU energy legislation was revealed, limited supplies from Norway and structural differences with France were shown. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the findings to adjust the energy strategies of the EU member states. The prospects of the study are related to monitoring the implementation of hydrogen projects and the impact of geopolitical shifts on the European energy architecture.
