РАЗВИТИЕ АГРОПРОМЫШЛЕННОГО КОМПЛЕКСА ВОЛОГОДСКОГО РЕГИОНА В I КВАРТАЛЕ 2026 ГОДА

Abstract:
The purpose of the research was to study the production of agricultural products in the agro-industrial complex of the Vologda Oblast in the first quarter of 2026. It was established that in the structure of agricultural production (according to the results of the 1st quarter of 2026) 93.5% is occupied by animal husbandry (mainly dairy cattle breeding) and 6.5% — by crop production. The main base of the agricultural sector is agricultural organizations (hereinafter referred to as agricultural enterprises), they account for 96.2% of the volume of agricultural products produced in January-March 2026. In January — March 2026, the agricultural sector and peasant farms of the region produced 177.1 thousand tons of milk, the positive trend in production growth remains +3.8% compared to January-March 2025. In agricultural organizations, the average milk yield from one cow was 2,428 kg (+1.8% for the same period last year). The highest productivity of cows was achieved in the farms of Gryazovetsky — 2,932 kg (-0.6%), Mezhdurechensky — 2,887 kg (+2.2%) and Sokolsky — 2,668 kg (+1.6%) of the districts of the region. The volume of agricultural production in the 1st quarter of 2026 amounted to 10.48 billion rubles, the production index by January-March 2025 — 105.6% (in comparable prices). The analysis confirmed the positive dynamics of the development of the Vologda oblast agro-industrial complex. Agricultural organizations retain a key role in the production of agricultural products, and dairy farming remains the basis of the regional agro-industrial complex. The results of the study can be used by government agencies and heads of agricultural enterprises in conducting an operational analysis of the state of the industry, evaluating the effectiveness of government support measures and preparing management decisions.
