ОЦЕНКА ЭКОЛОГИЧЕСКОЙ СОСТАВЛЯЮЩЕЙ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЙ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ АГРОПРОМЫШЛЕННОГО ПРЕДПРИЯТИЯ

Abstract:
The analysis of environmental activities by agro-industrial enterprises is not only compliance with regulatory requirements, but also a prerequisite for long-term and effective activities. The assessment of the environmental component of the company’s activities is part of the policy of enterprises to strengthen their economic security. Various approaches to the definition of environmental safety of an enterprise are considered, which have shown the evolution of the concept from the characteristics of the enterprise’s condition to a set of measures, as well as the dual nature of the concept: the dependence of environmental safety on external conditions and the impact of the company’s activities on the environment. It is recommended to use a comprehensive methodology for assessing environmental safety, containing quantitative and qualitative assessments. The indicators of environmental friendliness of production, eco-management and eco-efficiency are proposed. The work also contains indicators for rating the environmental performance of the enterprise and qualitative indicators. The approbation of the methodology using the example of a large Russian agro-industrial holding has shown the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise in the field of environmental activities, which consist in the obligation to comply with environmental payments, the use of advanced environmental technologies, and the insufficiency of the company’s own activity in environmental actions. The assessment of the environmental safety of the agro-industrial holding made it possible to formulate recommendations for strengthening the environmental policy of the enterprise.
