Abstract:
The scientific problem of this study is the need to develop an approach to the decomposition of the economic value of platform solutions in the transport and logistics sector. The relevance of the chosen issue is due to the fact that existing approaches are mainly focused on the aggregated representation of value, which limits the ability to identify its internal structure and leads to a loss of analytical accuracy. The purpose of the article is to develop a structural approach to the economic value of a platform solution based on differences in the mechanisms of its formation. The scientific novelty lies in the proposal of the decomposition of value according to the criterion of differences in the mechanisms of its formation. The methodological basis consists of logical and structural analysis, decomposition method and comparative analysis of economic effects. As a result, the coordination, information-analytical, network and infrastructure components of the value are identified, and their analytical independence is substantiated. The study established the correspondence of the components to different types of economic effects and mechanisms of formation. The practical significance is determined by the possibility of using the results to improve the correctness of evaluating platform solutions and substantiating management decisions. Decomposition has an application value for the transport and logistics sector. The approach increases the transparency of the assessment, identifies sources of economic impact and helps in making investment decisions, which is especially important in the context of digital transformation and constraints.
